Loan Process

Pre-Approval

It all starts with the pre-approval process. We promise to help you with every step of this journey so you never feel confused, frustrated or alone. We understand that embarking on this process can feel daunting. Our team is here to support you.

During pre-approval you will be asked for permission to run your credit history. You will also be requested to provide income and asset documentation.

Go House Hunting

Once you are pre-approved it is time to go find your property. We recommend you seek a licensed Realtor® who understands your local market. Don’t have one in mind? We can make recommendations.

Once you find a property, you can make an offer, have your realtor work through the negotiations, and get your offer accepted! Provide the purchase property address to your loan advisor to finalize your loan application.

Work With Loan Team

You’ve made an offer, and it’s been accepted! Now be ready to quickly supply any additional paperwork requested so there are no closing delays. These typical items may include updated financial documents.

We will need to order and pay for the appraisal, inspections, go over the interest rate, terms and cash needed for closing.

We Take Care of the Rest

Your loan professional really gets to work during your closing period.

Here’s an example of a typical closing process:

  • If additional documentation is requested, provide it right away to prevent closing delays.

  • When you receive the Closing Disclosure, it is critical to have all borrowers on the loan sign and return as quickly as possible for your final approval.

  • By law, loan documents cannot be signed before the CD wait period. This wait period is either three business days after all borrowers have signed the CD or six business days after the CD was provided to you, whichever is less.

  • After the loan has received final loan approval, we will prepare the loan documents and send them to Escrow.
